In house massage and treatments
We know you are here to relax.  Our massage therapists who will come to your villa to provide massage and beauty services, and nothing will make you feel more beautiful than feeling relaxed.

Personal chef service
Manuel Antonio has the finest restaurant s on the Pacific Coast, but nothing can beat the convenience and luxury of meals cooked in-house by your very own private chef.  Services are very flexible.  You can choose anything from 1 to 3 meals per day and discuss the menu and budget directly with your chef and his team.  At least 1 week’s advance notice is often required especially at busy periods.

Car Rental
Tax I services are easily available, but a car rental is very easy for most visitors to Manuel Antonio and can sometimes help you maximize your time.  With our partner car rental agencies, we can offer a range of affordable options from a simple sedan to a 7 seater 4x4, and we can have them waiting for you at the villa or the airport when you arrive.

Ground and air transfers
If you need advice or assistance for finding the best way to and from San Jose’s Juan Santamaria Airport to Manuel Antonio, just let us know.  We can assist with booking a professional and reliable ground transfer or obtaining a seat on one of the internal flight services such as Sansa or Nature Air.  Remember that for less than $90 per person, Quepos is only a 25 minute flight from San Jose.

Sports Fishing

The central pacific region of Costa Rica is the world’s hottest fishing destination.  Sailfish, Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Dorado, Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Mackerel, Roosterfish and Snook are plentiful and waiting to give you the challenge of your lifetime.  Frequently, in the best part of the season, the run to blue water will include leaping sailfish, hundreds of dolphin, and occasionally a whale sighting.  Let us set up an inshore or offshore charter for you and your entire family or group of friends.  One taste of the Costa Rican fishing experience will keep you coming back again and again.


Rafting

Costa Rica offers some of the finest white water rafting and river kayaking. An adrenaline filled adventure as well as scenic, the Pacuare, Naranjo and Savegre rivers near Manuel Antonio offer class iii / iv / v rapids.  Safety is a top priority, and professional guides offer in-depth instruction before allowing guests to get on the river.  Tours are offered in either a half day or full day format.  It is recommended that children be over 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult.  Bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet, a towel, and  some dry clothes, and last but not least, do not forget the camera.


Canopy

Have you ever wanted to feel alive?  This tour defines the word exhilaration.  The canopy tour is a unique adventure that offers everyone an exotic opportunity to soar through the rain forest high above the forest floor. “Zipping” down the lines in a style only Tarzan could match, experts lead you on this exciting adventure in the heart of the rainforest.  See birds, monkeys, and beautiful views like you have never seen them before. The tour includes transportation, breakfast/lunch, guides and all equipment. It is recommended that you take hiking boots or athletic shoes, bug repellant, and once again, do not forget the camera.  Your family and friends turn as green as the leaves around you with envy.



Cycling

Cycle tours start from the moderate, mostly flat ride of 10km with a duration of 90 mintues to intermediate and advanced levels and to the expert ride of 27km.  The expert ride consists of steep uphills and fast downhills, rocky trails, river crossings, and deep forest .  This tour is available year round.

 

 

Scuba Diving

This is one of the best ways to experience the beauty of Costa Rica’s tropical waters. The tour operator is a professional PADI affiliated dive center providing a safe and high quality diving service. Whether you are a certified diver or this is your first time, the instructors and friendly dive crew are ready to show you the best of Costa Rica’s underwater world. The colorful rock and reef formations are home to huge shoals of barracuda, jacks, and grunts. There are also numerous species of pelagic fish, turtles, groupers, snappers, angelfish, Moorish idols, trumpet fish and various types of eels and crustaceans.  Other offers include guided dives and snorkeling trips, PADI dive courses, introductory resort courses, and Nitrox.

Manuel Antonio National Park Tours

Manuel Antonio National Park was established in 1972 to preserve one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. Although it is the country's smallest national park, the stunning beauty and diversity of wildlife in its 683 hectares is unequaled. Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest. The forest is home for sloths, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs amongst many other species which your bilingual professional guide will point out. The trail that winds around Punta Catedral affords some spectacular views. Visiting this park will be the most enjoyable thing that you have ever done.


Riverboat Mangrove Tour

Enjoy the fascinating guided tour on a boat through the canals of the estuary. Your guide will provide comprehensive information about the self-sustaining mangrove system and, no doubt point out the animals that co-exist there such as Caymans, bats, snakes, monkeys, sometimes the rare glimpse of the rare silky anteater, a 2 or 3 toed sloth maintaining its image as one of the world laziest mammals and numerous marine birds.  The tour departure time will depend on tides and lasts approximately 4 hours.

 

 

Butterfly Botanical Gardens

This is the first butterfly garden and private nature reserve tour in the Manuel Antonio area. Here you will find more than 10 species of butterflies inside a uniquely designed atrium garden. Your guide will show you the host plants, and you’ll be able to observe the four different stages of metamorphosis, (egg, larvae, chrysalis & adult butterfly), and perhaps witness the magical moment when a butterfly first opens its wings and takes flight!  If you have ever wanted to see God’s mark on this earth, this garden is a must-see.


Horseback riding in the mountains

For a few hours, ride like John Wayne on a moutain adventure.  The tour takes you on horseback through the protected virgin rainforest known as Cerro Nara. It’s possible to see all sorts of tropical birds, plants and animals on the ride. There is a waterfall located on the private property of Brisas Del Nara in Quebrada Arroyo in the protected areas of Cerro Nara. The waterfall is 70 meters of pure sparkling water rushing down into the natural pool where you can refresh yourselves. The stables also offer horseriding down Manuel Antonio beach.

 


Costa Rica Sky Riders

Experience the thrill of  flying low and slow on a unique open-cockpit and enjoy the pleasure of easing through the air like a bird. The only ultraflight service in the quepos area which provides 20 to 60 mintue standard sightseeing tours, as well as catering to the customer wishes on a an hourly fixed rate. Services include a flight over Manuel Antonio National Park, the River Naranjo, Punta Serrucho, Puerto Escondido, Punta Catedral and include low altituded photography and video taping. Ultralights are not considered free flight aircraft.  They use a small 2 or 4 cylinder engine. The Pilots are fully billingual, highly trained proffesionals, with airline experience and will inform you about every detail of the flight.


Sunset Sail Tour

Romance your love on the most beautiful tour on earth.  The sunset sail tour has two tours, one in the morning and, the other needless to say for sunset. The sail boat sails down the scenic coast, past the beautiful beaches and islands of Manuel Antonio National Par. You may see dolphins, which frequently swim by the boat’s bow wake. Occasional whales and giant sea turtles are a special thrill, and even the most avid wildlife enthusiast enjoys the ever-present abundance of sea birds. Learn to surf in Manuel Antonio

Surf’s Up!
Learn to surf like a pro. All surfboards and equipment are top of line and well-maintained for your safety and fun. Before getting into the water, billingual instructors will give you a safety talk and demonstrate the first steps of surfing. When you are ready, an instructor will accompany you into the waves for you to try the real thing! Whether you are seven years old or seventy seven, beginner or experienced, traveling alone or in a group, your needs are readily accomodated. Also organized are expeditions to world-class surfing beaches like Playa Hermosa, Playa Del Rey and Dominical.


Jet Ski Tour

Sheer adrlenaline!  Mount the Jet Ski and take a unique, guided tour off the coast of Manuel Antonio. You will explore small island archepelegos, marine life and learn about the history of the area all at 35 to 40 miles per hour. As you ride through the water, your guide will allow you to take a break and swim in the ocean and snorkel on reefs around the islands and mainland. Rainmaker

Home to 60% of all the flora and fauna species found in Costa Rica is the Rainmaaker Reserve.  The Reserve is dedicated to the conservation and protection of the Fila Chonta mountain range on Costa Rica’s pacific side and contains such international treasures as the presumed extinct Harlequin toad. The Rainmaker Conservation Project is a privately-owned rainforest reserve located in San Rafael Norte. The astonishing views of the coastline, mountain streams, waterfalls and the magnificence of its rainforest make Rainmaker an essential destination for nature lovers.


Spices Tour

Ever wanted to know where your cologne or spice rack items come from?
The spice farm is located 10 miles east of Quepos and is situated on 179 acres of primary and secondary rainforest. Spices that can be found range from vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper, and allspice to a variety of exotic fruits, essential oils, and medicinal plants. The agricultural tour is about 1 and half hours where you can experience the sights and aromas of vanilla, tropical spices, and essential oil plants.  Observe their sustainable practices such as composting, mulching, animal husbandry, permaculture, spice drying, and their unique aerated compost tea system for disease prevention and plant nutrition.
